"The world will be a better place when we stop making people feel bad for feeling bad"

People don't open up easily about how they feel and what they are exactly because we often make them feel bad for feeling bad. It's difficult to open up when you're constantly being made fun of, about what you feel and how you feel. Each one of us has had such days when we couldn't stop feeling, no matter how much we tried, or the days when we felt so much that eventually were numb about everything going on around us. Remember that, no matter what anyone says, you are allowed to feel hurt. You are allowed to feel bad. You are allowed to feel engulfed by pain and you do not need to apologize to anyone for how intensively you are feeling right now.

Your feelings are valid and it's okay if you feel too much or you feel so less. It doesn't make you weak. It's okay to feel and there is no need to feel bad for feeling bad.

"Remember that this current version of yourself loves you and nothing is going to change"

Let go of all the memories that chain you to the ground, let go of everything that drowns you, let it go. I know it's difficult, and I understand how painful it is, all they ever say is to love yourself but they don't tell you how to, start from scratch, make a list of the things you hate about yourself, and bit by bit start working on those qualities. Change them until you love them, or if you can't change them, see them from a different perspective, from a different light. You'll know it eventually becomes easier. One by one work on each quality that you feel bad about, and keep working until you can't stop loving yourself. Keep working until one day you feel you've changed a lot, you've gone through much, and the only thing to remember is that the current version of you loves you and nothing will ever change that.

"Stop treating people like they're the protagonist of your story"

This is your life, your story to tell, you're the protagonist of your story. Do not let anyone else's words or actions control you, do not let anyone command you or sway you off your position. Do not let anyone dominate and demean you. You are the lead in your story and everyone else is just a character in some chapters. While some chapters get over soon, some take longer and some characters hold your hand as you live through the pages and read out your story to the world.

 "To the friends who stayed, I can't thank you enough for loving me the way I am"

To the friends who saw us at our worst and instead of leaving us at our own miserable selves, they stayed. To the friends who were there when we needed them the most, the friends who were not only loyal on our faces but behind our backs, you're all precious. Thank you for staying, thank you for listening, thank you for loving us the way we are. Thank you for checking up on us at random moments, thank you for keeping our words and emotions safer. Thank you for holding us at our vulnerable times and being there when we pick ourselves up and stand up stronger. Thank you for being genuinely happy at our successes instead of envy. Thank you for being there in happy times and sad. Thank you for existing. To the friends who stayed, I can't thank you enough for loving me the way we are.

"Real people will find you, if it is not today, soon enough they will"

I know you have given your 100% to people who never deserve it, they never acknowledged you, never reciprocated even half of what you've been giving all along. I know it hurts to lose yourself by distributing pieces of you among people who later said they didn't ask you to, I know it surges a deep pain inside your heart to realize how you lost so much energy for people who weren't even real to you in the first place. I understand how you feel, I understand it's tough, it's difficult, it feels like no one really cares, it feels like you're wrong somewhere and maybe all of these were your mistake, but let me tell you, you're not wrong. Keep doing what you've been doing, and keep being the selfless person you've always been, because someday, if not sooner, someday, real people will find you.

"You can call me oversensitive if something hurts, then it hurts"

Yes, I cry while watching my favorite character in a movie die, or while reading that emotional paragraph of a novel. I get hurt and cry when I get bad vibes from someone I thought was my ally, I cry when I see someone close to me acting differently. I get teary when someone screams at me, I cry the moment someone raises their voice when angry. I cry because I'm sensitive and I get emotional at the tiniest things. I'm sensitive and I express what I feel and I do not wish to be different. I just want everyone to know that I'm not weak because I'm emotional, I want everyone to know in the generation where people think it's cool to not care, I care, I do and that is why when unexpected things happen, I cry. I want them to understand that it's my strength, I have the strength to express my emotions and I do not wear a facade or conceal what I feel, I'd die if I said I'm not afraid of people misusing my vulnerable side, but we cannot know a person's true intention unless we're vulnerable and I don't want to be stone-hearted, I cannot just 'not care' because I do. You can call me overly sensitive or over-emotional, but if something hurts then it hurts.
